    Cardiff is miles away Sal!!

    Try The Malverns, or Malvern itself. And Ledbury is a lovely little place. Or Evesham.

    It's a lovely part of the country, even across the border into Wales (Monmouth way) is great.

    Why spoil it by commuting to Cardiff??

    I agree, the roads are not really up to a daily commute. Looking between Hereford and Monmouth/Symonds Yat area would be worth looking at as they are very nice areas a lot closer to Hereford than Cardiff. Forget Newport, BTW, not as far as Cardiff but really is the pits.
