Toddler in push chair as his mum is reversing it off the bus:
He gave me a full arm wave and said "Adieu".
I couldn't reist breaking into a massive grin. And naturally returned the compliment.
His mum cracked up with laughter too.

Rushing out at 8:20am and finding the car hasn't been towed away yet.
( After waking up and suddenly remembering seeing a yellow parking suspension sign right where I parked it yesterday!
)
It's even better if the clampers are right by the car as I drive away.

Getting something for free which you're supposed to pay for.
Friday got a free return train ride
Saturday got free town centre parking
Made me ridiculously happy.

I do that too. A good lightbulb photo is quite hard. You need to know how to do it.Originally posted by d000hg View PostI wasn't until I came back to this thread I realised you weren't talking about taking photographs of lighting equipment.
I forgot one. Getting the first beer from the keg after the bell rings.Last edited by doodab; 11 December 2010, 21:16.

out on a crisp spring morning on the bike, the birds are floating along and the heron swoops down.
The smell of a baby clean and fresh.
My children smiling in the way only your offspring can.
Slouching on the couch after a long good day doing something great.
First cup of coffee from the percolator
Kippers, orange and apple with above cup of coffee when the wife takes the kids to school so I can enjoy it in quiet watching the squirrels and birds in the garden.

singing along to loud music whilst driving on the motorway. Its amazing how a well placed track can really lift my spirits. Current fave is Fake Empires by The NationalOriginally posted by realityhack View PostLast Activity Today 11:06 Current Activity Viewing Thread Moronic CUK members

Back on topic... +1 for warm clothes from the tumble dryer.
Also - stepping from a shower into a massive fleecy dressing gown that's been toasting on a radiator.
A few others that spring to mind:
Riding through really muddy areas on an MTB trail.
Cycling through snow.
Making the first set of footprints in a field of freshly fallen snow.
The 'welcome home' smooch from Mrs RH.
When you're round someone else's house and one of their cats decides you are 'the chosen one' and contentedly kips on you, purring.
Great thread idea btw.
