Boardwalk Empire is a tad slow going, will give it a few more episodes before giving up on it.

My OH and I have an arrangement that when she's watching Eastenders, X-Factor, Strictly or any other such tulip then I go and game on my PC, or similar and she doesnt expect me to keep her company.

Once a week she catches up on E/Enders and that lasts a couple of hours.

I love X-Factor etc because I can then do something else that I fancy doing.

Try Fringe and Supernatural, also V the remake is good if you like camp sci-fi, if you want gritty try breaking bad, it's a very refreshing drama.
I was watching Breaking bad, new season has not started yet. I was watching V, must look for some new one. I will give Fringe and Supernatural a go thanks!

Still waiting for Eat Pray Love to appear, currently there is only a Russian version uploaded.

Have you seen the guy in Rubicon

I remember come dancing with Angela Rippon, dear god, I am getting old.

These days I dread trips to the hairdressers or beauticians and the strike up a conversation which seems to consist of asking me about x factor and random reality tv stars and I'm absolutely clueless as to what they are talking about. And there's always the old copies copies of hello, goodbye and good afternoon in the waiting area, which means I can flick through and try and guess who half the people featured in are.

I'll stick to downloads of American TV, the news and my dvds ta!

Otherwise you were lucky if you got a decent film. I think Saturday night telly took a major downturn in the 1980s; at one point I became quite convinced that the breweries were sponsoring crud so that we'd be forced out of the house.
