Drewster, you were shown to hold to a belief system that was at variance with established scientific fact. Rather than admit your views belonged to a faith based system, you use the same semantic tricks as religious nut-jobs do to deflect from your failure.
QED.

Everyone knows that it is FAT women that cause earthquakes, and they don't usually get much chance to be promiscuous. So....panic over!!

ie Your implication was that "Hot water always freezes faster than cold water"
You know and I know that that implication is untrue - generally speaking, in most circumstances cold water will freeze faster that hot water.
Hot water will have an initial rate of cooling much greater than the cold water but it will become cold water before it becomes ice whereas the cold water will become colder water before it becomes ice.
So stop prattling about Aristotle et al - and accept that you were trying to sound "clever" and you didn't achieve it.
No doubt you can come up with more counter-intuitive "facts" but unless you qualify your language and clarify that you are talking about exceptions then you will continue to appear stupid.

Go outside in winter when it's really cold, I mean -15 or colder. Throw a cup of boiling hot water in the air and watch what happens. Repeat with cold water. Explain the difference.

and before you start Bulltuliping about Mpemba effects or other such moonshine - You are just wrong.....
1) Take a mass of water at "cold"
2) Take an equal mass of water at "hot"
3) freeze them......... the "cold" one freezes first... end of!

Not so long ago if you said you could bend a stream of water by rubbing a pencil and placing it nearby, no one would believe it.
Hot water freezes faster than cold water. Even Aristotle noticed that one, and no one has quite explained it yet.

The mad mullah may have a point.
Try claiming on your travel insurance because your flight's been cancelled and you could well hear them laugh "act of god!".
So it's only a matter of where you allow the line to be drawn.
I say ban all religion until God itself proves 'he' exists, and none of this human representation, I want to hear it from a talking animal for a change.

FFS you came to settle here and made that choice. You will find a better life here and mainly will be free to carry out your beliefs no matter how ridiculous and superstitous I may find them and again I accept your right to do so, upto a POINT.
I can't tell you how pissed off I am with all the security tulip at airports etc because some of you are still stuck in the effing desert.

There is no comparison with the backward and malignant views of islam that are imposed on whole comunities, like the many Iranian people who would love a freer society, whether they like it or not.
As for Churchill's ridiculous comparison with Christianity, true enough, but the very relevant factor is that Islam is still spouting these medieval views in the 21st century when mainstream first world Christianity has moved on.

Promiscuous women may have a degree of responsibility for seismic activity, if they use an SUV to be promsicuous.
