You know what pisses me right off, is that after Locke and his letter on toleration back in the 17th cen we gradually took religion out of policy and justice i.e out of the state and the state treated everyone the same whatever private beliefs they held.

Now I have no beef with immigrants coming over to work and even settle but want I really dislike is some sections using religion to try and dictate our policies and wanting exemptions every pair of plates.

FFS you came to settle here and made that choice. You will find a better life here and mainly will be free to carry out your beliefs no matter how ridiculous and superstitous I may find them and again I accept your right to do so, upto a POINT.

I can't tell you how pissed off I am with all the security tulip at airports etc because some of you are still stuck in the effing desert.

Water is a pretty weird molecule. There are many more discoveries waiting out there for it.

Liquid water itself has at least 5 phases that are currently known off. And get ice cold enough and it stops being a solid, but changes to a treacle consistency.

Not so long ago if you said you could bend a stream of water by rubbing a pencil and placing it nearby, no one would believe it.

Hot water freezes faster than cold water. Even Aristotle noticed that one, and no one has quite explained it yet.

            Some nutty comparisons here.

Homeopathy, astrology etc may be rubbish but they do not actually do any real net harm. The impact on the wallets of those who believe in them is presumably counterbalanced in their own view by the assurance, phony or not, that it gives them. Spending on such things is purely voluntary after all.

There is no comparison with the backward and malignant views of islam that are imposed on whole comunities, like the many Iranian people who would love a freer society, whether they like it or not.

As for Churchill's ridiculous comparison with Christianity, true enough, but the very relevant factor is that Islam is still spouting these medieval views in the 21st century when mainstream first world Christianity has moved on.

Promiscuous women may have a degree of responsibility for seismic activity, if they use an SUV to be promsicuous.

A scientific link between being promiscuous in an SUV and seismic activity

Spot on. Infact one of Lockes central premises was that you could believe what you want privately as long as the stability of the state is not affected.

The mad mullah may have a point.

Try claiming on your travel insurance because your flight's been cancelled and you could well hear them laugh "act of god!".

So it's only a matter of where you allow the line to be drawn.

I say ban all religion until God itself proves 'he' exists, and none of this human representation, I want to hear it from a talking animal for a change.

Since that bit is total bolux it makes me doubt your other "facts".

and before you start Bulltuliping about Mpemba effects or other such moonshine - You are just wrong.....

                      1) Take a mass of water at "cold"
                      2) Take an equal mass of water at "hot"
                      3) freeze them......... the "cold" one freezes first... end of!
