    I am a permie and I am unable to comprehend why a permie would be rude to a fellow worker for no apparent reason.

    Either
    1) You are superior to him and are you rub it in to him
    2) He is superior to you and he detests working with you.

    Just had a chat with another member of staff showing me an email from a permie with a torrent of abuse in capital letters. Must be something in the water at the minute!
