Agreed - the first versions were awful. Mate of mine was responsible for OCS at one stage, and got lots of grief from those of us that had to use it. Beehive is meant to be better, although doesn't seem to pay well - there was a contract in London paying £190/day advertised for ages.

True - TBO, I logged in and on seeing the practically empty main screen my first reaction was "now what?" and I haven't looked at it since.

(I tend to be a bit of stick in the mud with new things like this, but soon sort myself out once their use and advantages become apparent.)

I'm looking for work at the moment. I have to send my details to an agent, he replies, I reply, messages cross, woops, reply to that one, oh hang on he's asked something else in a different email, attach that CV there, confirm availability in that one. Wait for progress report. Wait. Nothing. Decide to send an email chasing progress. Have to write, "Hi, it's dang65 here, we were talking the other day about a role with MassiveCorps, I was just wondering if you'd had any further information..."

    It drives you insane.

Imagine if all that was all on one wave. Just sweetly tied together in one place, no crossed lines, forgotten attachments, confusion. If the agent takes a couple of days off, all he has to do is to share the wave with his colleague and the whole lot is in there in one place, all nice and tidy (because you can edit a wave and correct spelling mistakes and grammar and cut out irrelevant comments).

But I'm not sure if agents have even heard of Google Wave. Would they be open to trying something new like this do you think?
