    Built a free nagios based monitoring sysem complete with nifty nagvis based webpage that is better than the monitoring system the client paid £500,000 for.

    Much to the embarressment of the IT director that sponsored said expensive pile of tulip.

    Monitoring over 90 servers and 1500 services with lots more to come...

    • T-SQL and Stored procedures

    • Applied my knowledge of various financial products and trading strategies

    • I’ve de-fraged the hard-disks on my workstation and my laptop
    • Been to Tesco’s, done the laundry, cleaned the whole flat
    • Kept out the pub since Sunday.
