Well Alf, dont know much about Rumsfield, but last night when I thought I had it(the flu), the missus was talking about moving to her sisters for a couple of weeks.
Then she changed her mind and decided to stick with me. She'd had a shot of TamiWynette

Wrong. Tamiflu is a flu treatment as well as preventative.

If you can, this excuse will get me out of a whole lot of trouble with the wife!

Hence why I've got my own stockpiles of Tamiflu and Relenza.

I've been feeling like a sac-de-merde for a couple of days, and rang my doctor an hour ago.

Interestingly he asked me what I thought it was, when I said tonsillitis, he said he was 99% sure I was right. 'People know their own bodies'

Doctors didnt used to say stuff like that.

Anyways, I aint taking any time off

I took a week off last week - due to a confirmed bout of flu - was not tested for piggy flu as my doctor said they are not bothering to test anymore (!?).
I have not had any time off sick for 3 years and as a contractor I have never had a whole week off. I was conscious of not passing it round clientco, but someone else round here has a confirmed case of it.
Whatever type of flu it was, It's really knocked me for 6, a fortnight since first symptons appeared and I'm still not 100% again.
