Yes, I'm having one of those days.
I have to say, I'm still having one of those days...

You can still park in the DLI carpark itself, or could recently. It's a bit longer to walk but there's a shortcut across the grass...Originally posted by Sausage Surprise View PostBarriers are on the northbound side - I imagine it was on the southbound side as that's where you need to display it. It's a complete rip off at £8 a day. It was £4.50 when I started in Leeds in 2005 and went up in 2006 to £8 - how can they justify such a huge price hike in one go
You used to be able to park on the road up to the DLI for free if you got there early enough but I see they stopped that as well.

A feather boa, and a sheepish grin.Ruprect asked : I hate to ask...but what else did you have to wear?

Plus a bra for my moobs (wasn't a bad fit actually), a camisserole thingie, and fishnets.
All photographic evidence has been destroyed.
I was most disappointed...I thought all that clobber was meant to make you feel sexy. Didn't do "anything" for me, however.

Gutted if you get a ticket, although can't remember - do you have to use the ticket to make the barrier open? In which case you have a fair chance they won't inspect...

Yes SA, I have days like that all the time.
Example being last week - drove to Stafford train station at 5am, about to step onto the train and realised I'd left my laptop at home. Had get through meeting without any of the required information, then finally managed to leave.
On walking out of (busy, large, v corporate) building, stiletto heel gets stuck in matting and I stumble headfirst towards the security desk - leaving shoe behind.
Grit your teeth and remember, tomorrow's got to be better!

SA - your skirt is tucked into your knickers. Just thought you'd like to know.
