Was that one of the rip-off £8 tickets? Gutted if you get a ticket, although can't remember - do you have to use the ticket to make the barrier open? In which case you have a fair chance they won't inspect...

Barriers are on the northbound side - I imagine it was on the southbound side as that's where you need to display it. It's a complete rip off at £8 a day. It was £4.50 when I started in Leeds in 2005 and went up in 2006 to £8 - how can they justify such a huge price hike in one go

You used to be able to park on the road up to the DLI for free if you got there early enough but I see they stopped that as well.

You can still park in the DLI carpark itself, or could recently. It's a bit longer to walk but there's a shortcut across the grass...
