    No more snow, but By The Gods does the wind make it feel cold today. I've been out for a walk every day this week, and today was by far the worst. I've just walked back from the pub, and had a slightly scary moment where my key wouldn't open the door (I was turning it the wrong way), but it did go through my mind that I'd probably die out there if I couldn't get inside.

    Global Warming, now please.

    Been snowing on and off all day in Durham. Another 3" since last night. Which makes something like 15 consecutive days of snowfall, and we've had snow on the ground since December 17th.
    Even in Durham city centre it was 4 inches deep and not melting on the pavements, we went to the local park and it was 6-12" everywhere.

    Also, the river has frozen. It's not a tiny river either, probably about 100 feet across or more.

    Here in Herts we have had 3 light dustings today, once at around 11am - BBC weather wasn't predicting anything until 6pm - then the second dusting at around 3pm and a third one at 7pm.
