        BBC Snow Channel aka News 24 is now filming slush on the roads and demonstrating how ice is slippy by showing a closeup of the reporter's foot rubbing the ice.

        Did our parents have to endure this drivel in 1963?

            Here in Herts we have had 3 light dustings today, once at around 11am - BBC weather wasn't predicting anything until 6pm - then the second dusting at around 3pm and a third one at 7pm.

                    Loads of Snow here (12"+) but at least the Buses were still Running at 6am when I Left the Pub

                      Naff all snow here in the English Riviera except for the leftover stuff from Wednesday, but pretty bleeding cold.......relatively speaking.
