Yep, arrived at the bank this morning and the PM told us that due to cutbacks the project is shelved. Even mentioned government recommendations to shed contractors. Off to find a permie job this morning,

So the scumervent back in 2001 issued Fast Track Visas to foreign IT workers when there was a down turn in the market and now they are advising everyone to shed IT contractors.
