    All that post-modernism garbage they came up with suggests that even if they did have a word for "that fing" they would still argue that it didn't actually mean "that fing".

    Again, not quite. Companies bidding for public sector contracts could be required to submit their equality policies as part of the bid documentation but would not have to meet "quotas" for their ethnic balance.

    The other part of it is that there could be a requirement for companies to publish their pay ratios, either voluntarily or as a result of an employment tribunal, to highlight gaps between pay rates for men and women.
