    Must admit I think there was a time in my youth (about 2.8 seconds) I thought if the planet stopped rotating we'd all float away.
    We did in that film of H G Wells' "The Man Who Could Work Miracles". Must be true, he was scientist he was!

    The whole point of checking sunspot activity is to see if they correlate to temperature rises. The GRAPH shows that they clearly don't. Sunspot activity was also 75 in 1860 when temperatures were cool. On the other hand temperatures correlate closely with CO2, from the GRAPH.
