Apparently, some Americans holidaying in Europe are pretending to be Canadian.

I don't suppose many wearing MAGA hats are seen on the streets of Paris or Berlin. Although come to think of it, most of the diehard MAGA nutters probably don't even have a passport and have never travelled outside the US.

The landscape is stunning in its variety. Shame about the inhabitants. I did much zipping around the USA for a couple years, chasing the airline points, but I'm in no hurry to go back.

Have to say, getting Global Entry was a game changer for those jaunts. The next best thing for speeding up the immigration queue is to get the mobile passport app. It makes entry a veritable breeze.

Then you're missing out. One of the best countries to visit for national parks etc. Stunning in (a lot of) places.

You will be one of the few Europeans and Canadians there. Lots of people are giving a holiday to the States a miss while the orange one is president.

I'd just like to say that the ESTA app for visiting the US is a great piece of software.

It's very thorough. But I understand entirely the necessity.

I'm really looking forward to going with my wife and daughter to Orlando, and visiting our good 'ol friends in Meridian, Mississippi.
