    That's brilliant!! Sites like this keep popping up and never cease to amaze me. I'm already 20 min in to playing with it and can see the rest of the afternoon going for a burton now. Love the map scrolling alone let alone the overlay of the gritters.

    Just having a look to see if I can find something similar in our area. This site seems to offer the service

    It looks like Ayrshire and Manchester Councils use it but Ayshire just shows where it's been and grit bins. No data on the Manchester council one. Another company also offers a real time tracker service but can't see who's using it so no luck finding my area.

    Our local FB group is (as usual) up in arms this morning as no gritters have been out, useless council yadda yadda. This would shut them all up straight off if we could see where they are and where they'd been.
