Not sure how the slapstick comedy will work in this day and age but I'll be half looking forward to this. That said. I can't stand Liam Neeson. I find him hard to watch in whatever he's in. There are a couple of actors that 'act' in the same way regardless of type of movie if that makes sense. Ryan Reynolds is always a smarting talking annoying arse in whatever he's in for example. He generally doesn't seem to switch gears and for me Liam is the same. I'm struggling to see how he can do a slapstick comedy without sucking the life out of it from the start... I do appreciate he's a good actor so maybe he can pull it off (BIDI) but what do I know so will wait and see.

Well his "very particular set of skills" won't come in very handy, it must be said.Originally posted by edison View PostLeslie Nielsen's performances in Police Squad, Airplane and Naked Gun were awesome.

I like Liam Neeson.
I have an extreme allergy to Gervais and Corden.
Leslie Nielsen was great, though everyone forgets he started as a serious actor. (Forbidden Planet etc).

Liam Neeson IS Frank Drebin
Liam Neeson in Naked Gun reboot
Remembering his Improv sketch with Ricky Gervais, this could be a banger.
