    So it appears it's just an (underground) land grab. Already in litigation about use of the building so they decided to tunnel out to make more room. Very strange carry on.

    Was hoping it was much more sinister and interesting but it's not.

    Very strange. What is it about the tunnel that has them so worked up? Throughout the article they say the meaning of the tunnel is unclear but they are clearly passionate about it. Is it because it's the link to the 'womens baths' even though it also says it's unused? Can't help thinking there is something pretty dark about this but could be totally wrong.
