It just happened to be there, stayed put during the shoot and just happened to be connected to the topic of the photo shoot but was a mistake? No chance.
See I think it being intentional is less likely than an oversight. She immediately deleted the tweet once it was pointed out. It was hardly a professional shoot, it was 4 kids holding signs on a grungy sofa in some digs. Surprised didn't see a bong and 2l bottle of strongbow.

Same. Like how I know Hitlers birthday because of CSI I think, 4-20 boys.

Ask random people on the street what '88' means in relation to jews and I bet almost no one would know.

To shoot yourself in the foot by not understanding the symbolism of something you are making a strong statement is just ridiculous and does them no favours. Thankfully most activities don't really have a clue and aren't smart enough to work this out.

Not sure how this is going to affect her image as a climate change poster girl. Well I do and anyone with a hole in their arse already knew it. Interesting to read the bit about the blue octopus perched perfectly on the chair back. She states she wasn't aware it was something linked to antisemitism. Kinda of makes the whole effort pointless if shes had to admit she's cluelss about the topic.

World would be a much better place if the press would stop giving this waste of time page space.

    It won't.

She's an activist not a politician, has admitted she has done wrong and apologised.

However depending on the Home Secretary due to her activism and views I'm sure she can be banned from the UK. Home Secretaries have banned people in the past who are religious leaders or extreme right/left wing politicians who didn't get a chance to be arrested by the police.

Those ideas cost money and investment particularly long term investment - the last is something the government doesn't believe in.

And she is at another one

    https://www.theguardian.com/environm...ndon-this-week

Greta Thunberg has taken part in climate protests in London for the second time this week, protesting outside the JP Morgan headquarters in Canary Wharf.
Apparently undeterred after being arrested and subsequently charged with a public order offence after a protest on Tuesday, the Swedish campaigner joined fellow activists in the east London financial district on Thursday morning.

“Change your diet, save the climate – eat the rich,” chanted protesters sitting outside the JP Morgan building on Bank Street, as financial services workers filed past on the way to their desks.
