He was later sacked when he was observed sniffing the said seats as he took them to the cycle store!

I use to go around singing that as a child with my own version of the verses. I wasn't told to stop either...

I can see why -Originally posted by NotAllThere View PostApparently the song has only been dropped from the Queen's Greatest Hits on a platform aimed at children. Of course there's plenty of other songs that probably should be dropped as well, if Fat Bottomed Girls fails to make the grade.
Are you gonna take me home tonight?
Oh, down beside that red firelight
Are you gonna let it all hang out?
Fat bottomed girls, you make the rockin' world go round
I was just a skinny lad
Never knew no good from bad
But I knew life before I left my nursery
Left alone with big fat Fanny
She was such a naughty nanny
Heap big woman, you made a bad boy out of me
I've been singing with my band
Across the wire, across the land
I seen every blue eyed floozy on the way
But their beauty and their style
Went kind of smooth after a while
Take me to them dirty ladies every time
.....
Though most younger kids mishear lyrics which is very funny.

At one contract there was a very kind security man who used to park any ladies bikes that they had cycled into work on. He was later sacked when he was observed sniffing the said seats as he took them to the cycle store!Originally posted by Sox Machine View Post
The original was SO much better.....

I note with interest that although the tofu-eating wokeratii have cancelled "Delilah" that the Kingston Trio version of "Tom Dooley" is still going strong.

The original was SO much better.....The original sleeve for the song, which was taken from Queen's album Jazz, featured a scantily clad female riding a bicycle but was altered after some stores refused to stock it.
The new version was the same image with knickers drawn over the woman.

Bah! You've got me googling big bum songs so I can download them before they are banned.
