That's for people who don't bleed ('Girls' and 'women' omitted from NHS guidance on periods | Daily Mail Online), makes them more comfortable.Originally posted by ladymuck View PostFor some reason they changed the plastic to blue some time ago.

I tried a mooncup-style thing but evidently bought the wrong size as it was very uncomfortable and ended up in the bin. I tried to contact the manufacturer because their size guidelines were terrible and they didn't respond so I won't be trying their product again.Originally posted by mudskipper View Post
Yeah, they're for people who are too uptight to shove it up with a finger. Pointless "one use" plastic waste, so good to see this one getting an extended life
Of course mooncups (other brands are available) are the way to go - reusable, efficient, no waste!
A friend of mine thinks they're great except for the challenge of emptying and rinsing out in a public toilet.

Recycled condoms would make nice balloons for little kids.

Well at least he's going to grow up knowing what they are.
By the photo that's a Tampax Compaq. For some reason they changed the plastic to blue some time ago.

A mum has revealed her son has laid claim to a new favourite toy - a tampon applicator. The toddler is now carrying it around with him - wherever he goes.
