I have a similar Japanese one. The problem is that using it on a cold winters day with warm water squirting one's bits together the warm air dryer encourages guests to stay extra time in the loo.

I know about bidet type things, I was thinking of a cheap adapter you could put over an ordinary bog during temporary bog roll shortages. Maybe somebody's done those as well, can't be a*d to Google.
