Yeah great job - they’ll knock your house down to expand the storage too.

I suppose you could remove the staff and friends and family incentive to reduce new registrations and kill it quicker!

Jaguar Land Rover recovery continues as latest sales figures released - CoventryLive

aguar Land Rover’s recovery is continuing thanks a rosy set of recent sales figures as the Coventry car maker bids to get back on track following the damaging effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The company marked the end of 2020 with a second successive quarter-on-quarter recovery in sales, despite the continuing impact of Covid-19.

Retail sales for the final quarter of 2020 (October to December) were 128,469 vehicles - a 13.1% oncrease on the 113,569 vehicles sold in the July to September quarter.
The latest figure represents a 9% on the October to December period in 2019 but comes as welcome news as the automotive industry globally continues to be hit hard by the pandemic.
Jaguar Land Rover said sales in China were particularly encouraging, up 20.2% on the prior quarter and 19.1% year-on-year.

That's right. We don't. No new nukes, no base load power. If it's cloudy and calm you're going nowhere.
And that's before we factor in heating moving to electric.

By 2025 the rules on taxing electricity will have changed.
You'll get charged more for faster use (a power charge on top of the energy charge), both in tax and to the power generators.
Great if you can trickle feed the car over a whole day. Expensive if you want it done in 45 minutes.
    All enabled by smart meters.
    That hertz motorists.

I'm with Bulb and they have been pushing the smart meter thing. They don't really work in my block of flats as all the meters are in a central place, underground.

No point being all electric if there is only very few, very slow and many broken charging points

I'm not naive enough to think I won't eventually be forced to get one, however.
