    Interesting...

YouTube has removed the official channel of talkRadio from its platform, PA Media reports. The Google-owned video sharing site has not yet commented on the incident or confirmed the reasons for taking the action. In a statement posted to Twitter, talkRadio said it was waiting for an explanation from the technology giant. However, there have been reports the takedown may be related to a breach of YouTube rules around coronavirus misinformation.

Wonder if they were talking about who was filling up A&E...

Sounds about right. 12 billion (if the figure upthread is accurate) spent on something that would only be effective in a very narrow scenario, seeing as the UK borders (flights) have never been controlled adequately to stop the system being overwhelmed purely on incoming numbers let alone any active transmission in country.

Fortunately they have a new scapegoat to blame their incompetence on: "It's all the new virus variant's fault."

"The necessary due diligence was carried out."

"There is no evidence of corruption, nepotism, or fraud in the awarding of government contracts or the decision on who to run them."

Likely true, given the incompetent morons in charge and the inept journalists supposingly keeping them honest.

Oh well, could be worse, we've not been invaded by aliens yet.

If getting too stressed over this tulip show just look out of your window and hear the sound of crickets.

Looking at the stats on the beeb the NHS would need a few million beds to cope with it if allowed to 'let rip' through those over 50.

Covid: Can we really jab our way out of lockdown?

Over 30 million people in the UK are over 50 where the death percentage is significant.

Anyone under 50 dying of covid is unlucky either in health or quality of treatment with less than 1% of the covid deaths so far attributable to that age group. The bigger risk to them is the threat of 'long covid'.

It's what people voted for and it would be undemocratic to criticise.

Just because you do not see the benefit....

Every Tory donor chum and his director mates in all his shell companies has made millions in the last year. This is like Brexit times 10. Christmas came early. There are individuals who have siphoned off incredible amount of tax payer money into Cayman Islands and who will disappear soon leaving us holding the debt.

They did, they spent millions/billions on Nightingale 'hospitals' but failed to recognise they don't have the trained staff to operate them without diverting them from other primary care permanent hospitals.
