    I’ll tell him not to bother then, unless he can find a badly paid job for just three months, which seems unlikely.

    Ok, there's a very long and dull thread about 80k permie jobs in London...

    It occurred to me that this might be the ideal rate for a friend of mine in Switzerland. It's just under the amount you get in unemployment benefit. So, theoretically he could take a rubbish job like this and benefits would top it up to a slightly more reasonable 124K.

    Has anyone tried this? Does it really work?
