It was actually quite nice not having to see family. Anyone else?
My MIL is back. Drinking my beer - we're talking 3/4 bottles a night here. And has somehow wangled 3 nights a week staying over.
She used to stay before - to help with childcare but as kids got older.
WFH I'm right off at the moment too. Don't think I'd fancy this forever. Alas, public sector client is already talking january earliest. I'd be ok if there was no-one else at home. (Thinking sitting on sofa, beer in hand, etc). Not so good with wife here (she works shifts) and MIL (who I used to see for maybe an hour or two in the evening and that was it).
Tips to retain sanity when WFH please!
