What if you work for an EU company but are based in the UK e.g. home worker. I assume this change would be picked up by the company in Europe and they have to deem you inside or outside?
-
you are the subject of the tax laws in the country where you live and work. When I was in Germany I paid in to their system, but I was resident there and not flying back on weekends. I think if you yo-yo in and out it becomes complicated as you may be considered as resident in 2 countries.Originally posted by KentDogWalker View PostHow does working at an EU company effect ir35? or is it only relevant to uk companies?

Isn't it more that it is the employers who are just doing blanket decisions on IR35 that is the main problem at the mo?
The IR35 rules haven't changed. Just employers cant be bothered to take the risk or indemnify themselves.
The reforms are a conduit to this but still employers can circumvent this?

"the genuinely self employed" would be characterised as those contracting directly with the client, having multiple clients, showing financial risk, have a business premises, have a web site, have business cards etc etc. But there are those without those attributes who would be classed as not employed for tax purposes by IR35, because of lack of MOO and SDC.Originally posted by Spoiler View PostJohn Redwood's onboard - shame about the party he's a member of

Sadly HMRC see you as tax avoiding scum so you are explicitly not mentioned in the Tory Manifesto and are the designated money tree in the Labour Manifesto.Originally posted by GhostofTarbera View PostOther "guarantees" include tighter immigration controls and not to increase rates of income tax, national insurance and VAT.
Whoohoo as my tax bills would go up within IR35 so I presume IR35 is now cancelled !!!
Champagne anyone ?

Good luck deciding who to vote for - it's definitely the case of picking the least worst option with a chance of winning the seat.

Unfortunately, neither Labia, or the Clitory party can spell IR35.
They have been reduced to their Lowest Common Denominators. Lying. Crap. Duplicitous.
Spoil your paper.
