It's a clear statement of direction of travel. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Yeah - I mean joining a group of countries to form a single trading block to help levy better deals is one thing.

Forming a government with a country - which when that video was from - tried to take over the world and did kill millions only 40 years previously was probably a step too far....

Surely the first female PM deserves a statue in Westminster? Show just how sexist still is.

I don't think they are ready for you to tap that!

Treaty establishing the European Economic Community - Wikisource, the free online library

Only a few hours of your time and you may actually start knowing what you are talking about. Nevertheless, this is not the treaty that did the dammage. The problems start with the Maastricht Treaty and finally the Lisbon Treaty which was the travesty that has people in arms against the union.

Probably need another Nelson's Column to keep it safe from the lefties.

Mind you, not only lefties who do these things:

Karl Marx's London grave vandalised in suspected hammer attack | Books | The Guardian

PS Actually it probably was, trying to frame us righties!
PPS Maybe, to try and heal political divisions, we should have a statue of someone everybody hates and we can vandalise it together. Tony Blair?
