It's hard to say what was going through the minds of the other passengers however I suspect one or two were activists who knew exactly what was happending and why. There's a lot of that of late.

Regardless, it was clearly a deportation and considering how hard it is to get one in spite of henious crimes it is high time the average joe respected the legal process enough to leave be. We can only hope.
