I always suggest we aim for the month before we have to send notice to cancel the contract without penalties, that way we only waste next years licensing if we overrun. Its enough you get the resources but not enough to break the business.

Aye, had an interview at a bank a long time ago who waxed lyrical about the big bang approach because it focused everyone.Originally posted by vetran View PostIts not unusual, they suits are desperate to switch the old system off to save licence fees and get their bonus.
I did then hear a rumour some years later of him receiving the bin bag treatment at another bank. I've no doubt he left a trail of destruction.

Interestingly enough when Santander changed one of my accounts from Girobank to their systems mine and everyone else's was as smooth as a whistle , so my experience the Spanish banks are more than competent its just this particular bank.
Having had an account with TSB before and they were hard work.
