Be careful with Shiply, i got some ludicrous quotes from them, like in the hundreds of pounds for a £199 Fender Jaguar...

Post Office Parcel Force do a large item pick up and delivery service with 48 hour delivery guaranteed and 25% refund if it's late.

Will also do insurance if it's valuable.

As long as it's light enough for the driver to fling it in a hedge and say it was signed for at your house, Hermes or Yodel are fine.

So you can get quotes based on weight/size in the normal way.

Didnt cost me anywhere near 100 quid.

    Large Item Couriers

    Hi,

I need a spare wheel shipped from 'Oop North to Dahn Sarf. Has to be a door to door pickup.

Weight around 24Kg at a guess. Not more than 1 metre in diameter.

Any recommendations for the best way to do this that's not going to cost me a hundred quid?

    TiA.

Working...
