Jean-Claude Juncker backed away from his preferred vision of a post-Brexit federal Europe yesterday because of his fear of “alienating” voters who feel that the European Union has become too powerful and illegitimate.
Federal Europe will be 'a reality in a few years', says Jose Manuel Barroso - Telegraph

A fully fledged federal Europe may seem like "political science fiction" today but will soon become reality for all European Union countries whether inside or outside the euro, Jose Manuel Barroso has said
Sorry maybe we should avoid reading the newspapers spreading Alt news?

Sorry maybe you can quote someone authoritative denying it. Is the EU toilet cleaner up for denying it?

Interesting to see anti brexit John Major using the same Brexiteer fear mongering to try to win an election. He was kind of right about Scotland but 20 years after Blair won the federal Europe looks if anything less likely* than in 1997.

For the many not the few

Just got the latest Labour flyer - note not personalised by a candidate (they only decided on one Saturday).

Seems they are taking the Brexit trick of harking back to the war...

    Thought this would be amusing
The 20 year anniversary of the 1997 general election is as good a time as any to reflect on the achievements of the last Labour government. To remind ourselves that Labour radically re-shaped Britain after 18 years of Tory failure and to re-learn the lesson that only Labour governments bring about transformative change for the many, not just the few.
