Actually we can control immigration from Europe. Unfortunately as the Home Office can't even kick out non-EU people with no right to stay in a timely fashion then then they had to blame the EU for their feck up.Originally posted by vetran View Post

No I'm applying for permanent visa (189). I always thought the reason they banged on about the "Australian points based system" was because that was the only system of managing immigration that they had heard of.
