Never use it and never noticed any performance change but it was running as a process. Ended task.

nice idea but on my AMD A6 5200 (equivalent to an i3) it killed it.
Its not an issue with 48gb ram, Xeon processor and the faster m2 drive you can buy (yes I'm just being awkward).

I love Cortana!! Use it every single day and cant do without it. I understand its to counter Apple's Siri but MS have done it the right way and is so good.
