Silverlink is an agency you should stay away from. It's mostly horrible experience for me with Indian agencies, apart from Infosys to some extent.Originally posted by Eirikur View PostSilverlink are on my blocked caller list, they are such a waste of time. They can call and email you 3 times per day about the same role and the next day again the same thing and each call may be a different Indian.
Besides bugging you literally every 10 minutes on the phone over the same stupid things over and over again for days they tend to play pretty nasty. Silverlink terminated my contract WITHOUT NOTICE based on a ridiculous claim by the end customer which complained to the next Indian intermediary in the chain without even hearing my side of things (some bulltulip like screaming to the customer in a meeting and whatnot). Real b*stards, avoid them by all means!
Maybe it's a good idea we start a thread with information necessary to block agencies that do not play ball by collecting domain names and contact numbers

I just received a call saying I am to be offered the contract. This could be fun.....

Ditto. Absolute waste of time. And if it tells you anything, in my entire career (Including non-contract) they're the only "interviews" I've had where I don't get an offer at the end. Probably because they can sense my irritation by the end of it.Originally posted by Andy2 View PostI disconnect the call as soon as I hear the words like silverlink, infoplus, smartedge solutions, black apple, avance consulting.
They are absolute time wasters.
I suspect they are all owned by the same company

They did not set a time and just called me. 3 people with heavy accents from Pune. Call lasted about 5 minutes - they were very bland questions and I gave bland answers.Originally posted by PokemonStay View PostI fell for this a day ago. I just decided to search CUK now.
However they already had my CV. Zurich role. Rate looks okay. They have just called to get availability for phone interview Monday. I am waiting for the scam very carefully now. I will let you know.

Had a missed call on Tuesday, googled it to see who it was from, one of these 'Who Called Me?' sites said it was Blackapple Solutions.
One of the comments was 'Crap Indian IT Recuitment company'.
Nuff' said....

You should have quoted them in doggy rental vouchers for a combined price of 75 quid each. Mind you, I can kill a dog for a tenner if anyone is interested. Bulk discounts are available.Originally posted by Lance View PostI once upset the RSPCA. Whilst installing some CAT5 for them (really, really cheap as they are nice people), I asked them about the doggy hire service.
They looked bewildered and asked what on earth I was on about.
I pointed out that they have an 'adopt' price of £35, and a 'put-down' price of £50. So I can rent a dog for £85 for an unlimited period. Saves on kennel fees.
They don't have much sense of humour it seems. Nice people mind....
