I've tried various TV cooks over the years and I've found the best recipes are Jamie Oliver (Rabbit stew) and Gordon Ramsay (Citrus goose).

Ramsay is the real deal but seems unable to do simple food which puts me off trying his recipes.

I think that she's a rather ordinary cook.

And she's horrendously heavy on the salt.

She's not (and never has been) a chef, her USP is being good looking and having a "normal" life that people can relate to, cooking for friends etc. She's not trying to be special - there's loads of TV chefs trying to do that

I don't think she should be judged on her cooking. Lets judge her on breast size. Like the tabloids do.

Mrs-BP is a great cook and thinks Nigella is quite good. She uses a few of her recipes. Usually adding arsenic or something in my portion.
