No actually I sold some shares in April, just before they went down, and I've been buying in since about July . I'm sort of prowling round looking for shares that have halved, mostly emerging market shares (Brasil, Thailand & Korea) that always dip more during a correction, and a couple of mid-cap US shares that look like they 're about to rebound.

Do you know why the stock exchange is doing so well at a time of the year when it traditionally declines? BECAUSE I retire in Demember and being worried about Iran, interest rates etc. I CONVERTED half my pension fund into cash a couple of months ago at about 5850 thats why! I reckon all you bastards should be grateful to me for causing this rise to happen and send me £500 each!!!
Is there going to be a party? Will you get a gold watch. Mmm I wonder what contractor's get when they retire?
