Both sides of my family, Irish and German, had to change names to be 'accommodated' to the welcoming, all embracing Scottish nation.
The new socialist premise of the SNP that foreigners are welcomed by our natural genetic embrace is utter bulltulip.

Not forgetting that 2 centuries earlier, the emigration from Scotland to Ireland didn't go down too well in Ireland and could be seen as part of the cause of The Troubles (tm)
