Point out in Private Eye. This letter to the Grauniad protesting the invitation to the Egyptian President to visit the UK.

Signatories include Andy Murray (Unite chief of staff) who praised Stalin's record, and supports solidarity with with People's Korea (i.e. North Korea).

Paris Lees was talking about the NHS funding crisis and made the point that it was set up after the war when the country was on it's knees and very poor.
Later on, Paris Lees was commenting on International aid (foreign aid), she said we could afford it because we are rich 'due to our colonial asset stripping'

Is there a special course that lefties have to go on, or some sort of lobotmisation process they have to go through ?

If colonial asset stripping were profitable, for a nation, we'd have been doing it a bit longer i think.

Yet I rarely meet lefties who hold views such as you describe who are in any way stressed at the contradiction and inconsistency. In fact they don't even see the contradiction and inconsistency.
The stress arises when they worry about saying something that doesn't chime with the views expressed in the echo chamber that they inhabit.
