Thanks to all who contributed to the JustGiving fund - we now have around 500 quid to send to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Cardiac Unit. Sandy would have been proud of you all.

Thank you to those who have contributed to Sandy's fund. At his wife Marion's request the money - currently sitting at £407 - will be donated to the Cardiology unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. As the page runs for 30 days, there's still time to contribute. The donation will be from Sandy's friends and IPSE and CUK.

That's just horrible. I met him for the first time at the CUK meet and he did indeed seem like one of the good guys.
I really feel for him and his family - way way too young.

Very sad. I met him at the CUK gathering a week last Tuesday; he was good company.
My condolences to his family
