A pub I occasionally walk to does local ale at £2.50 a pint on Tuesdays. Very good it is too. And that is in Surrey, between Guildford and Dorking. I handed over 10 pounds, the barman tried to give me over £7 in change, I refused, demanded a full refund and walked out. I mean c'mon whose heard of a pint costing less than a fiver these days...
