    Yes you do, a pub near me does cask bitter for £1.80 a pint all the time, and very nice it is too.

    Okay so £2.50 a pint, you've had 2 of those, bought the missus a couple of lady drinks and scoffed down some peanuts/scratchings and kettle chips, all for £4.60? Are you Gordon Browns economics advisor?

    A pub I occasionally walk to does local ale at £2.50 a pint on Tuesdays. Very good it is too. And that is in Surrey, between Guildford and Dorking.
