I was thinking why can't we have a pinned thread, where everyone can post current openings (either contract or permanent) that they are aware of ? Wouldn't that help everyone who is looking for the next gig (and in some cases bypass the agencies)?

Admin can create a Anonymous user id(userid: anonymous passwd: anonymous) which can be used to update that thread.

When contractors want others they ask in Business/contracts - one of the more serious parts of this forum.

The danger with such a thread is that it would be flooded with fake jobs by MF in no time.
