    I'm not the only one who uses Adblocker in this way for the same reason then.

    Recently installed Ad Blocker. I turn it off on most pages as I tend to agree with the idea that people will stop supplying free content if they can get no reward for it, just leave it on for a few news sites that were so ad popup infested that they made the whole page slow. If everyone does the same hopefully we will get ads but they will be a bit less obtrusive.
