The problem is that we live in a more controlled state than most, despite appearances. Lab and Con are both puppet parties controlled behind the scenes by the elite.

All infrastructure services - including energy and public transport - should be state run and not for profit. Get proper, well-paid professionals heading them up rather than civil servants. Society needs a good balance of capitalism and socialism. While both are sound political theories, they both make the sad assumption that everything else is a level playing field.

First thing I'd do is reverse the Beeching effect and get more railways up and running again, especially for freight, to reduce the number of HGVs clogging the motorways. Well, either that would be first or shutting the channel tunnel.

Say what you like about Adolf, he was quite the public speaker; knew how to hold an audience, no question about that.

^ This. Small population, with common culture and strong sense of identity and shared history.

Labour immigration has produced this instead. Have a look.

Cobblers. Because TB was leader when we invaded Iraq does not make him responsible for every death, everywhere, forever. Not even every death in the Middle East, which has been at war with itself, in some form, for all of my life (I'm 47) and probably will be for a long time to come. You have a lot of rich dictators packed together, it is virtually guaranteed they will be eternally at war, with or without our interference.

It doesn't help that we feed them weapons daily. If you want to help the Middle East, maybe refuse any contracts in defense related industries. Or go back to your bogey man narrative, whatever's easiest.

In fact much of that "strong socialist economy" may be a myth. Sweden had a strong economy because of an excellent work ethic but that has been declining since formation of the welfare state.

Lefties always seem to think that this time it will be different, tell us that those failures were not real socialism/communism. In theory maybe not but in practice they are what leftist policies always deliver due to human nature. Most people place themselves/their family/their own communities above mankind in general. If the results of their efforts are handed out to those with whom they have no connections they see less point in trying. If the most able cannot further their own ends in a free economy they will seek to do so within the state apparatus and corrupt it to suit themselves

As for the "principled" Corbyn, take a look at this article:

I’ve lived under Jeremy Corbyn’s rule – it turned me into a Tory
