I shaved mine off when people started to comment how much I looked like my ex-wife.

I have a friend who can do that, and also won a couple of awards at some beard competition in the last week.Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostPeople found my attempt unnerving.

His wife goes along with a material beard that she sewed together, seems to be the thing for wives of bearded men.

After surgery last year I tried for two weeks, but mine just never seems to get past the scruffy stubble stage. Maybe I need some more testosterone.

Beards!
For those who are not following the saga on Facebook I will share here.Originally posted by xoggoth View PostOne thing about not going out anywhere significant this week I haven't had to be a*sed to shave. Thought I'd just look even more like my sexy hero Albert Steptoe but it's worse than that, I am starting to look like Jeremy Corbyn. Free student grants for all, ban Trident!
PS But I don't look as ancient as him, although 3 years older, That's what believing socialist bollux does to you.
PPS If you can't grow a beard better than that weedy thing, best not to bother.
Not back at work for another two weeks, and with a half decent base I have decided to grow a beard, best man at my brothers wedding in seven weeks and the bride has given me the nod to keep it.
Just need to convince my daughter that I can keep it, bloody kids!Tags: None
