So population growth of less than 1% is matching GDP growth? Oh no. Compounding is hardly relevant when it's only happened a handful of times. Especially at <1%... 1.01^n takes quite a while to do muchOriginally posted by meridian View PostDo you know how compounding works? Maybe they should open up the tunnel and let them all stay in Slough for a week. They will be clamouring to return to war ravaged countries after a week there.Originally posted by VectraMan View PostPoor bloke. As if he didn't have enough problems.

Just to clear up this story from your mate:Originally posted by Mincepie View PostA mate called me yesterday, he works in airfreight at LHR. They opened a lorry to unload in warehouse and 5 of the blighters poured out fresh from Calais. One did a runner last seen heading to Slough and the other 4 we eventually picked up by plod..
This lorry that arrived via airfreight at LHR what flight did it arrive on?
I for one didn't know that there were many flights of lorries from Calais to LHR.

LHR to Slough happens to be 26.21 miles. Was he a marathon runner from Kenya?
