It does got to show though, that you can trust the left about as much as the right
But the original picture is not a meme

"MEME: an image, video, piece of text, etc., typically humorous in nature, that is copied and spread rapidly by Internet users, often with slight variations."

The original message is shared in mock outrage without knowing the underlaying facts

    well wow that escalated quickly

meme's are there to provide amusement in some case and to try to show a point in others

but they are only like the cartoons you get in Private Eye etc that show certain things being funny, thought provoking or irratating depending on your pov

I think bringing education levels into this has missed the fookin point a wee bit

Dailywail reader you. Had only you read the article. Proof is in the pudding though, the readerships reactions to a well timed photo combined with the publications agenda is indeed a powerful tool. Unfortunately gullible readers are not in short supply, it's only a worry they have a right to vote.

Oh no, I am ridiculing you for presenting absolute pish as fact. Did you even consider what you posted to be complete tulipe? Do you believe anything you read on the web as fact if you want it to be correct?

I'm going to say this again...

One of the points of a tertiary education is to be able to filter information, when you have to learn on your own you have to know what source is valuable and what is not. You have not had the luxury of a tertiary education (quite probably as you did not have the ability to be offered tertiary education) and are clearly unable to distinguish pish from fact.

Whether the pictures are fake or not, MPs got a stonking pay rise in 1996. Tories knew they were being voted out so did not care what the electorate thought.
