The sad thing all this money should have been spent years ago it might help a little with the present traffic.
God knows what's going to happen as the population grows to the predicted 75 million over the next 10-15 years.
We'll have the capability to work from home, have meetings at home, but we'll still be dragged into buildings after a 2+ hour commute and accomplish nothing.

I say willfully, because I suspect a political philosophy might be at play here; one in which the free market rises up to 'sort everything out'. This was the dogma that prevailed in post-invasion Iraq - how did that turn out?
